Student Council is an organization conducted by students and supervised by adults.  The purpose of the student council in Sacred Heart International School is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.  In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.  They help share student ideas, interests and concerns with the school wide community. The members of Student Council play a very important role in Sacred Heart International School.  Student Council creates citizens who demonstrate communication, responsibility, and empathy for others.  These traits give them the foundation to become impactful future leaders of our school and ultimately, society. 

 Currently, SHIS Student Council is actively working to provide a place for students to talk about issues that arise in the school and how to deal with them. This year, we have had numerous discussions on how to improve the school community and promote a culture of kindness within the high school. The members of SHIS student council in Head Boy, Head Girl, Class Prefects, Assistant Prefects and other members. These roles are voted on, either within the student council or by the entire student body.

The Student Council of Sacred Heart International aims at;

• Enhancing communication between students, management and staff.
• Promoting an environment conducive to educational and personal development.
• Promoting friendship and respect among pupils.
• Supporting the management and staff in the development of the school.
• Representing the views of the students on matters of general concern to them.
